When we talk about quality of life, we refer to the essence of our life itself. How do we live and how do we want to do it? Our aspirations are combined, our individual desires to live and feel "good", with the objective conditions in which we operate daily, housing, work, income, environment, social environment, among other edges that cross the very broad dimension that this concept.

The idea and approach to quality of life is not new, it dates back to the 1960s, when it was linked to the environment and the deterioration of urban living conditions.

Subsequently, the social sciences begin the development of social and statistical indicators that allow measuring data and facts related to the social well-being of a population.

The development and refinement of these indicators, in the mid-70s and early 80s, is what leads to the differentiation between them and the quality of life itself. The former are associated with the objective conditions of life, while the concept begins to be defined with a notion of a multidimensional nature (Gómez Vela, S., 2016 in Struck, 2018).

From there, our concern and continuous work in favor of the quality of life of the various populations.

Today, in 2022, in the context of a pandemic (COVID19) that has disrupted the way of life of populations and continues to do so; Since a new way of working has been generated, interpersonal relationships mediated by technology, a new educational model, among other changes, the quality of life has been abruptly impacted, including its referents.

Unexpected wars, such as the one in Ukraine, marked by contempt for human life, that is to say, further complicates these studies.

Multiculturalism adds one more ingredient, which cannot be left out, which is why we continue to investigate and add collaborative efforts from Asesórate Consultores
Associated with this, our great line of research and projects: Quality of Life.

Our north is the effective contribution with the different citizens and achieve the expected improvements. This leads us to advance quickly in this joint work that we have
proposed.

The planet is experiencing unprecedented climatic transformations with catastrophic consequences for humanity, which has generated agreements and commitments between countries to reduce this dynamic phenomenon. The indiscriminate advance of this climate change is impacted by CO2 emissions in the atmosphere, affecting natural ecosystems, disturbing human security and transforming water resources. Given this phenomenon, the need arises to migrate to other less polluting energy sources.

This is how the Systemic Energy Prospective (P+S+E) supposes assuming the development of new energy matrices and the use of alternative energies, under a multi-paradigmatic action.

The paradigm shift cannot be postponed for the strengthening and satisfaction of the needs of current and future generations, as the basis of sustainable development in core areas such as transportation, education, health, security, and public policies.

The experiences of the present, in addition to the profound changes that new technologies imply, have accentuated the need and the importance of attending to our Mental and Emotional Health. This implies giving space and place to what we feel, what we think, what we expect and what we want, in a balanced way, combining it with reality and the circumstances that we have to live.

The post-pandemic readjustment, the adaptation to constant uncertainties, the focus on consumerism, the time submerged in digital social networks, the alarming news, the over-demanding online employment modalities, questioned love, the society of fatigue or emptiness, they promote immediacy, superficiality, banality and exaggerated positivism or pessimism, taking away depth and responsibility from what it means to live and build a good quality of life. Consequently, the risks of physical, mental and social illness are accentuated.

It is urgent to become aware, be it in families, schools, companies, institutions and the media, to attend to the mental and emotional health of the members of society. Such an action that implies educating, guiding, caring and providing attractive and creative models, to take care of mental health, the ability to think sensibly, as a requirement to build and care for our quality of life.

Activities and proposals that stimulate attending to emotions: knowing how to observe them, listen to them, recognize them, nominate them, regulate them, manage them and communicate them. Identify how they affect our behaviors, learning, decisions, performance and work performance, our productivity and economy. Admit that we are essentially mind and emotions, that we start from them to be and exist, to aspire and progress, so that we have a life with meaning, projects, illusions and that it is well worth living. It is then time for all of us to strive to build quality of life, to develop the healthy society that we deserve.
